3. Engaging Our Services
A service engagement with eGlobalProfile begins when both of the following conditions are met: (a) we have exchanged written confirmation of the project scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees; and (b) you have made the agreed deposit payment. An inquiry, contact form submission, or verbal discussion does not constitute a binding service agreement.
Project scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for each individual engagement are confirmed in a written project proposal or brief confirmation sent by email. If you have questions about any element of a proposal, you must raise them before making your deposit payment. Making the deposit payment constitutes your acceptance of the proposed scope and terms.
4. Fees and Payment Terms
Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the agreed total project fee is required before work commences. This deposit is non-refundable once writing work has begun, as it compensates us for the time and expertise invested in your project from the outset.
Final payment: The remaining 50% of the agreed project fee is due upon delivery of the final approved document. We will not release the final formatted PDF or Word document until final payment is received in full.
Payment methods: We accept payment via bank transfer (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS for domestic Indian clients), UPI, and international wire transfer or PayPal for international clients. Specific payment details are provided in the project proposal.
Currency: Fees for clients based in India are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR). Fees for international clients may be quoted in INR or USD by mutual agreement.
Late payment: If the final payment is not received within 14 days of final delivery, we reserve the right to withhold the final deliverable files and/or charge a late payment fee of 2% of the outstanding amount per month until payment is received.
Refund policy: If we are unable to begin work on your project after receiving a deposit (for example, due to capacity constraints), we will refund your deposit in full within 5 business days. If work has begun and you wish to cancel, the deposit is non-refundable but we will provide you with whatever draft or partial work has been completed at that stage. If we fail to deliver the agreed deliverable within twice the agreed delivery timeframe without your consent to the delay, you are entitled to a full refund of all amounts paid.
5. Delivery Timelines
Standard delivery timelines are specified in the project proposal. Timelines begin from the date we receive your completed brief questionnaire or source materials — not from the date the deposit is paid. Timelines may be affected by delays in receiving your completed brief, delays in feedback or revision responses from your side, or scope changes requested after the project has begun.
We will notify you promptly if we anticipate a delay to the agreed delivery timeline and will propose a revised timeline. If a delay on our part is significant and you have not agreed to a revised timeline, you may cancel the project and receive a pro-rated refund of amounts paid minus the work completed to date.
6. Revisions
Our standard service includes up to three rounds of revisions following delivery of the first draft. A "revision round" means one set of consolidated feedback from you which we address in a single revised draft. To make the revision process efficient, we ask that you compile all of your feedback into a single document or annotated file rather than sending individual comments across multiple messages.
Revisions must relate to the originally agreed project brief. If you request changes that represent a significant departure from the agreed brief — for example, a change in target audience, a major restructuring of the document, or the addition of new sections not in the original scope — we reserve the right to treat these as scope changes and quote separately for them.
Revision requests must be submitted within 21 days of receiving each draft. Revision requests submitted after this period may be treated as a new project or profile refresh, at our discretion.
7. Intellectual Property and Ownership
Content we create for you: Upon receipt of your final payment in full, you receive complete ownership of the written content we have created for your project. We transfer all intellectual property rights in that content to you. You are free to use, modify, publish, and distribute it however you wish.
Our methods and templates: Our internal processes, structural frameworks, questionnaires, and writing methodologies remain our intellectual property regardless of whether elements of our approach are apparent in the deliverable.
Content on this website: All original content published on eglobalprofile.com — guides, articles, checklists, templates, and the website design — remains the intellectual property of eGlobalProfile. You may not reproduce, republish, or commercially use this content without our prior written permission.
Portfolio use: We will not use your project as a portfolio sample, case study, or reference without your explicit written permission. We ask for this permission separately at the end of each project. You are under no obligation to grant it.
8. Confidentiality
We treat all client information — including business data, financial information, client names, product specifications, strategic plans, and any other information shared with us during a project — as strictly confidential. We do not disclose client information to any third party without your prior written consent, except where required by law.
If you require a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before sharing information, we will sign one upon request at no additional cost. We ask only that you allow one business day for NDA review before we sign.
Our confidentiality obligations survive the end of the project and continue indefinitely, unless the information concerned becomes publicly available through no fault of ours, or you give us written permission to discuss it.
9. Domain Sales
Domain names listed on our Premium Domains page are offered for sale subject to their continued availability. A domain sale agreement is formed only when both parties have exchanged written confirmation of the agreed price, payment terms, and transfer process — not when an inquiry is submitted or a price is discussed.
Domain transfers will be initiated only after full payment is received. Transfers are conducted via the standard EPP code / authorisation code process through the domain registrar. We will provide all assistance reasonably necessary to complete the transfer successfully.
Domain sales are final once the domain has been successfully transferred to the buyer's registrar account. We do not offer refunds on completed domain transfers.
We make no warranties about domain names beyond our ownership of them at the time of sale. We do not warrant that a domain name is free from trademark disputes, that its use will not infringe on any third party's rights, or that it will achieve any particular commercial outcome. Buyers are responsible for conducting their own trademark and legal checks before completing a domain purchase.
10. Website Use
The content on eglobalprofile.com is provided for informational and educational purposes. You may use the website and its content for your personal and professional reference. You may not: (a) scrape or systematically download content from this website; (b) reproduce our guides, articles, or other content for commercial purposes without written permission; (c) misrepresent the source of our content; or (d) use our website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, eGlobalProfile's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our website or services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or from any service engagement, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through direct good-faith negotiation. If negotiation does not resolve the dispute within 30 days, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. For service engagements already in progress at the time of a change, the Terms in effect at the time the engagement was agreed will continue to apply unless both parties agree in writing to the updated Terms.
