Biography
Yuki Nakamura is a Japanese business leader and the Chairman of RetailWorld Asia Co., Japan's largest omni-channel retail group with over 4,000 stores across Asia and a rapidly growing e-commerce division. He is the grandson of RetailWorld's founder and took over as CEO in 1998 before transitioning to the Chairman role in 2019.
Born in Tokyo in 1962, Nakamura studied business administration at Keio University before completing an executive programme at Harvard Business School. He joined the family business at age 28 after a decade working in consumer goods at Unilever Japan and P&G.

He led the company's successful Tokyo Stock Exchange listing in 2004 and its pivotal digital transformation programme from 2015โ2022, which produced RetailWorld's now market-leading e-commerce platform.
